The program includes three parallel sessions (one in Danish, one in Swedish and one in English) and a subsequent conversation (in English) about respect. We hope you not only listen to our presenters but also come up with your own views.
Taste of OresundsLimmud Online starts at 2 PM and is expected to last approximately until 4 PM.

I denna session presenteras en talmudisk berättelse om två rabbiner som försöker hitta gemensamma värderingar, men ju mer de försöker, desto svårare blir det. Kan vi lära oss av deras (dåliga) exempel?

Session: We often discuss Israeli politics and society with fire and conviction. In some cases the discussion becomes bitter and threatens the cohesion of the community.
How can we talk in a tolerant and respectful way across different opinions when we are so impassioned about the subject?
Bio: Keith Kahn-Harris is a sociologist and writer. He is a senior lecturer at Leo Baeck College and runs the European Jewish Research Archive at the Institute for Jewish Policy Research.

This session begins with a brief summary of the conversations from the three introductory sessions. Then we open for a general discussion on the question of how respect in the Jewish community (between individuals, within associations / congregations and associations / congregations between) can be promoted and strengthened.
